This page explains what happens to the details you send us through this website. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Who we are

Gregory's Gardens is a gardening and landscaping business working across Surrey and a 20 mile radius. For anything on this page, including any request about your own data, contact us on 07542677645 or at gregorysgardensofficial@gmail.com.

We are the data controller for the information described below — that means we decide what is collected and what happens to it.

What we collect, and why

When you send an enquiry

The form asks for:

• Your first and last name
• Your email address
• Your phone number, if you give one — this is optional
• The type of work you need and the kind of property it is for
• Whatever you write in the message box

We use it for one thing: to reply to you and quote for the work. We do not use it for marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share it with anyone for their own purposes.

Our lawful basis is consent — you tick the box on the form before sending it. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us, and we will delete what we hold. Withdrawing it does not affect anything we did before you asked.

When you call or email us

If you contact us directly rather than through the form, we hold whatever you tell us, for the same reason and on the same basis.

When you simply visit the site

Our host, Bunny.net, keeps standard server logs so the site can be operated and kept secure. We do not use those logs to build any picture of you, and we do not receive analytics from them.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies at all. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no session tracking, and nothing stored in your browser. That is why you have not been asked to accept anything — there is nothing to accept.

Everything the site loads comes from our own domain. The fonts are served by us rather than requested from Google, so no third party learns that you visited. Customer reviews shown on the site are collected when the site is built, not when you view it, so viewing them sends nothing to Google.

Links to our Facebook and Google listings are ordinary links. Following one takes you to that company’s site, where their own privacy policy applies.

Who we share it with

Only the services that make the form work. Each acts on our instructions and cannot use your details for anything of their own.

• Twilio SendGrid — delivers the enquiry to our inbox as an email.
• Bunny.net — hosts the website and the database that keeps a copy of each enquiry, so a lead is not lost if an email fails to arrive. Our storage is in London.

We do not share your details with anyone else. If we ever needed to — a subcontractor doing part of a job, for instance — we would ask you first.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to do the work, quote for it, and handle anything that follows, such as a query about a job we have done. After that we delete them. If you would rather we deleted yours sooner, ask and we will.

Keeping it safe

The site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into the form is encrypted on its way to us. The enquiry database is reachable only with a private key that is never sent to your browser, and only we and the services above can read what is stored.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

• Tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete what we hold
• Stop using it, or restrict how we use it
• Hand it over in a portable form
• Stop relying on your consent, at any time

Email gregorysgardensofficial@gmail.com and we will deal with it. There is no charge, and we will respond within a month.

If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.

Changes to this policy

If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will say so here rather than quietly amend it.
